Surprise & Mystery

My old friends, Surprise and Mystery, live here in San Miguel de Allende. Recently, on a cobble-stoned lane I peeked into a small window I’d never seen open before.  Hello! There they were, Surprise and Mystery!
Surprise revealed an ancient and decayed room flooded with golden light. Meanwhile, Mystery asked, ‘What are those old clothes hangers on the walls, and the peek of a courtyard beyond, what does it mean?’
To me it always means the same thing: In San Miguel de Allende, you can always depend on your friends Surprise and Mystery, to reveal unexpected and unforgettable scenes.

So glad I had my camera!
